Three meters—that is the most rational distance between life and death, and the final ritual of this farewell. I gaze at the last frame transmitted to my screen: a massive stone arch bridge spanning the raging waves of the Atlantic. Black volcanic cliffs intertwine with white surf, creating a scene that looks like an ancient, heroic final resting place. It did not plummet into anonymous mediocrity; instead, it came to rest amidst the most magnificent scenery of its lifetime. This little Mini 5 Pro has been my companion on such a long journey. It soared over Taiwan’s vast coastline, slicing through the sky as sunlight bathed the sea; it took flight in the Austrian dawn, capturing the fairytale-like wooden houses of Hallstatt and the harmony of lake and mountain; it flew above German castles, weaving through masonry steeped in history and the passage of time; it circled the towering peaks of the Italian Dolomites, recording the stark, breathtaking sight of golden summits at sunset. It witnessed the serenity of Denmark and the deep, majestic fjords of Norway; it battled the biting sea winds off the White Cliffs of Britain; and amidst the endless wilderness and shifting weather of the Scottish Highlands, it captured the raw, sweeping grandeur of the land. It was another pair of eyes through which I viewed the world—wings that froze every moving moment in mid-air for me. Today, on a coastal cliff in Northern Ireland, the moment its obstacle-avoidance system failed marked, perhaps, its final destiny as a "flyer." It lies in the grass at the foot of the precipice—just three meters away from me, yet separated by a sheer, dizzying drop. While a risky retrieval attempt using a rope might not be impossible, true wisdom lies in knowing when to exercise restraint and let go, balancing passion with reason. There is no need to put one's life in danger for the sake of cold hardware. In its final moments, it transmitted every memory, every landscape, and every magnificent view back to me intact via radio waves. Your airframe remains out there in the Atlantic winds, yet the entire world you showed me is forever captured on my memory card and etched in my memory. Goodbye, my old comrade-in-arms. Thank you for carrying me across mountains, seas, and distant lands. You have completed your final flight, while my journey continues.

A MUST STOP Absolutely gorgeous views, free parking, and arguably a better view of the Dunluce Castle! I would suggest going multiple times throughout the day to see the colors change. Pictures don't do it justice.
