9/1/2026 Reef Dive- We had a wonderful experience scuba diving the great barrier reef with the Passions of Paradise crew and saw incredible wildlife and the beautiful reef! The staff was amazing, especially our dive master, Leah. She was extremely knowledgeable and informative and you can tell she is passionate about her profession and is deeply interested in caring for the reef. She's also a fantastic dive leader- safety was always her top priority and she made sure we were ready to dive as soon as the boat stopped. Being a small group of only 5 certified divers for the entire catamaran gave us the opportunity to be the first off and into the water before the large groups of snorkelers. The entire staff was amazing as well - the captain, the chef, and the staff in general. Everyone worked to make sure all the passengers were comfortable. Even though it seemed like a large group, about 80 people, we never felt crowded. There was plenty of space on the main deck, upper deck, and outside areas to spread out. The food and drinks were excellent. They provided coffee, tea, and water, as well as fresh fruit, cookies, and a delicious lunch. You could purchase additional snacks and beverages if you'd like. We had great weather despite a slightly rainy start. The sun came out later which was perfect for diving. It was a bit bumpy going out and some people felt a little sea sick, which is expected with a group that size. Not everyone can handle a wavy ocean although we thought the ride was quite smooth! 10/10 would recommend Passions Of Paradise Reef Dive and Snorkel!

Absolutely incredible experience! Our Great Barrier Reef snorkeling and introductory diving trip was simply amazing! The staff were fantastic—friendly, polite, always smiling, and incredibly helpful. Everything was well organized, with clear instructions that made us feel comfortable and safe. The intro dive was the highlight! My instructor was amazing—patient, reassuring, and meticulous about making sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment. Fresh fruit and coffee when we boarded, a delicious lunch after our first snorkeling and diving session, and spectacular reef experiences throughout the day. Truly a mind-blowing and unforgettable experience. Highly, highly recommend!

Incredible experience overall and an amazing crew. It felt personal and made us all very feel very comfortable on the boat and in the water during the snorkeling and diving. Delicious food, cookies, fruit and coffee service on the boat.

A great day out, great staff, we saw plenty of fish of all colours big and small. Lunch was lovely, plenty of time to snorkel or Sun bake and still locally owned and operated.
