Located atop a bluff, the castle ruins are a must-see. Constructed in the early 1900s by Robert Snyder, a Kansas City businessman, the mansion was meant to be a luxurious residence but was destroyed by a fire in the 1940s. Now preserved as ruins, they offer panoramic views of the Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.
