A very good experience, although the uphill path is difficult the whole time, slippery with mud. Even though it didn't rain, there were slippery areas, and you have to climb some stone steps that are also quite slippery. You need to be in fairly good physical condition. Bring water and snacks; the hike takes between 3 and 4 hours. The trail is well-marked. There is street parking available.

This trail was terrible!! Too MUDDY!! I feet would sink knee deep in some spots and it was slippery as hell. I repeatedly had to pull my feet out of hiking shoes bc I could not pull legs out of mud with Shoes on. Did parts with bare feet. I was completely drenched in mud. When I got to the top, fog totally blocked view. DON’T DO IT!!!!!
