Great ranger staff. Great amenities. Excellently maintained campground. Perfect quiet and dark retreat from Bryce. Good “home base” for Bryce and other places but has great landscape and hikes of its own. Stargazing is top notch here with easy access to safe night time rock formations to lay out on and just enjoy the stars. Direct access to must see Grosvenor arch in the Escalante National park (usually - rockfall had the road blocked when we visited). We were so lucky to find this place tucked off of HWY 12.
