Stumbled upon this adventure while hiking with my wife and 8 year old daughter. Continued on this path all the way to the top of table mountain. Alot of elevation and a significant amount of scrambling...not ideal for kids...but a lifetime achievement for her! Beautiful view of camps bay and beyond

One of the most accessible contour routes on the mountain, offering sweeping Atlantic views with minimal elevation gain. Starting just off Kloof Nek, The Pipe Track follows the historic 19th-century water pipeline along the western flanks of the Twelve Apostles, delivering clear sightlines over Camps Bay and Lion’s Head. Because it hugs the contour line, it avoids the punishing, steep ascents typical of Table Mountain while still feeling fully immersed in pristine mountain fynbos. It also serves as the launch point for steeper routes leading up the ravines, such as Kasteelspoort and Woody Ravine. Also dog friendly!
