A good easy trail to enjoy any time of the day. Good sweeping views of the area including Mt. Crested Butte. The trail also provides great views of the changing Aspen trees .

This was both my first and last hike on a recent visit to Crested Butte. Nice and easy hike with good shade for much of it. A variety of wildlife to enjoy as well. As you exit the wooded area you step into a beautiful scene reminiscent of The Sound of Music. I injured my foot on a different trail so chose this nice flat trail to finish out my visit. Highly recommend!
