Best hike I've done in the Black Hills. The end is a little steep. Not for the faint of heart, but reasonably fit and sure footed people should be fine

You have some incline to get to the top, but of course it's all downhill on the way back. Beautiful trail, one of my favorites. We have done it the last two times that we have been to Custer state park.
