Fun trail to hike! The trail is basically a river the whole way, really neat! Potato Lake is beautiful and worth the hike up!

One of my favorite hikes! Do not drive a sedan up the road. 4WD isn't necessary but some clearance is. Parking at the trailhead is limited. There are a lot of rocks on the trail with a slight incline but is an otherwise easy trail. While short, make sure you still bring water! Weather can very, dress in layers. SO MANY off leash dogs. It was wild to me. The trail is very narrow so if you have a reactive dog or scared person, it's hard to maneuver around. Horseback riders also use this trail. I've seen bears up there a number of times, so just be ware. No bathrooms anywhere. There are fish in the lake. Fall is the best time to go check out the colors.
