If you’re up north, in this case the upper portion of the lower peninsula, I recommend checking out the sand dune park near Glen Arbor. As you can see its vast. There are many trails and lots of sand to get a good workout and have fun. The landscape and area are very interesting because in one area you have lush forrest, sand dunes, & lakes so large they’re easily mistaken for seas. With nearby Glen Arbor you’ve got great eats and tourist places. In some ways this area reminds me of a sleepy Hawaiian town. I think the area is great.
