The trail is a bit rocky, so you need to be sure footed.

We recently stopped the end of April on the trip back to LA to fly home. Coming from Palm Springs, we were able to find 3 hikes with waterfalls and gorgeous views to enjoy CA while killing time to NOT hit LA traffic during the peek! We stopped and grabbed the parking pass(used for the San Bernardino Mt area?) from the store right on your way into the trail head parking. When we went there was no one manning the booth. So we just pulled in around and parked over on the left by the bathrooms. Over on the side of the parking lot you will see the sign for the trail. Head down(walk with the flow of water). You will see a house fairly close on your left and you will cut down to the water and cross( you will see a sign on the other side of the water). Then just follow the creek in. There is a small waterfall right when you walk in. Then you can take the path to the right(past the warning sign) up and into the canyon. There is a viewing platform with railing(which I took the pic from) but you can cut down to the water before the platform and walk up and in the water to see the falls better. Easy hike. Wear sneakers or Boots, or Water shoes. I wouldnt suggest crocs, slides or flipflops. You dont need food and water unless you plan on staying a while. Its really a short hike. It was cold, there was snow up at the Mt Peaks', but dressed warm and the sun was out When you leave and start driving back out the same road you came in on, look over to your right into the MT and you will get an amazing view of the waterfall!!
