It was my first time visiting the area. The area is great for birding.Many species were heard and a few seen. A few wildflowers to discover along the trails.

Many interwoven trails that are easy enough for my parents while still enjoyable for me. See an old farmhouse and farm. Walk through the woods, fields, or along the river. Don't tell on me but this is a perfect place for your dog to run off leash.

Just a simple mostly flat trail that follows the Little Tennessee River toward the Otto area. We showed our young children what a house looked like 80 years ago and everything was much simpler and no indoor plumbing or modern amenities. Very enjoyable time teaching the family.
