What a beautiful spot! The walk around the lake is lovely, even if it can get crowded at times. The water is incredibly clear, and as soon as the sun shines on the lake, you could almost believe you weren't in Germany.

A breathtaking setting with a turquoise lake and a panoramic view of the Zugspitze. If you're lucky enough to visit outside of peak season and away from the tourist crowds, you'll be treated to a truly stunning view. The lake also offers a fairly easy circular path, allowing you to walk around it in a relaxed 1 to 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, it can get extremely crowded, so you should definitely check the route beforehand using Google Maps. Otherwise, you could face several hours of waiting just for parking.
