I really liked the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. In particular Grundarfjiord which is a typical Icelandic town with a beautiful church and a small harbour. I went to the little cafe called Valeria which I reviewed separately because I didn't expect to find a similar place in such a far away place. I read that it was an important trading post and has very ancient origins. Near the town there is the Kirkjufell mountain and the small Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls. The views of the peninsula are wonderful.
