Great walking along the bluff / coastline with several beach accesses along the way. Many resting benches. It is about 2 miles one direction. Several picknick areas and a well maintained RV and camping area close by. Looked very inviting with maybe 1/2 the places taken. Also besides is a wet land area with birds and butterflies to watch. And .....we loved it most , because we could bring our fur baby's and they enjoyed it too 😘😊 We will come again.

Extremely easy hike, more of a relaxing beach walk. Fun for all ages. Start at Pillar Point. Lots of parking on the street. Lots of cyclist on the path so be considerate and stay on one side so everyone can enjoy the trail. The detour path around the bridge has some beautiful cactus in bloom sightings. Enjoy the cool crisp weather and lush ground covers.

Great spot for a walk with really nice ocean views. The Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail is flat and well maintained, so it’s easy for walking, jogging, or biking. There are multiple access points and plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. It wasn’t too crowded when we went, and the fresh ocean air makes it a really relaxing experience. You can go for a short walk or a longer stretch depending on how much time you have. Simple, scenic, and peaceful, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
