Absolute joy devoid of all the crowds if you want a nature escape amid the redwoods. Parking is hard but you can always park along the road. Be ready to hike the 2-3 miles that requires quite a bit of hike up on a steep grade, 1000 ft elevation gain. Definitely grab water and snacks and steady shoes and hiking poles.

My friend and I were in Las Vegas for a girls’ trip and needed a massage after all the walking. We found Paradise Massage online and gave it a try. So glad we did! The place was clean, everyone was friendly, and we felt comfortable right away. We both liked the pressure, and my feet felt so much better afterward. We actually said we should’ve done this earlier in the trip. Would come back next time we’re in Vegas!

Beautiful hike with incredible redwoods and lush forest scenery. We started on the east side of Purisima Creek and made our way downhill for about 5 miles. The trail was peaceful, shaded, and absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of natural beauty along the way. One thing to know: since our adventure was mostly downhill, the return trip can be a challenge! We decided to make it easy and took an Uber back up to our starting point, which worked out. Highly recommend this hike if you’re looking for a scenic redwood experience.

This is a fantastic place to go hiking, but be prepared for the remoteness! There is an outhouse at the trailhead, but no water and limited parking. Cell service drops off about 2 miles before the trailhead, so there's no way to call an Uber or tow truck, or to text friends. Rangers regularly ticket vehicles that park improperly, so pay attention to the no-parking signs. Parking spots are usually full by about 9 am on a typical, good-weather weekend, and earlier on holiday weekends, although spots start to open up again around 2 pm and periodically as people finish hiking.
