Love coming to this beach especially when wanting to get a bit of hiking in too! Well manicured main entry to the parking lots, easily accessible to multiple spots to have some time to yourself. It is dog friendly on leash. It was a bit disappointing to see how little people have been cleaning up after their dogs though - hoping it doesn't ruin it for everyone like myself who love bringing their dogs and can respect the environment.

Gorgeous beach just half an hour from downtown Halifax. The Park gate is closed during the winter but it's just a short walk to the Beach. Hiking trails are partly submerged so bring waterproof boots.
