I went in May 2023, timing it perfectly with the blooming of the bluebells. Of course, I took the bus, but it is easily accessible even for those traveling on foot. As expected, it looked exactly like the photos I saw and was so beautiful. I highly recommend visiting if you come to Belgium in April or May.

It was impossible to find our way using Google Maps; the paths were barely marked. We wandered around for two hours without finding the picnic area. The paths were impassable with a stroller, full of potholes, and completely unmaintained.

Blissful to be able to escape to during the heat to still walk outside with the dogs and stretch their legs.
