This was a very muddy trail when we did it, the view is nice but it wasn’t my favorite hike mostly due to the mud. It has a gradual incline until you get close to the top. Even the steps up are not bad but they get very slick on the way down and many of the steps are eroded and large steps down. It’s easy to get very dirty and end up with mud logged shoes so come prepared especially if you’re in a rental car as a car wash with decent vacuums is hard to find on the island. Also make sure to wear shoes with a deep tread to keep you from slipping as some sections are narrow and exposed. Also not really a fan of seeing power structures on a hike since I like to hike to get away from civilization but, I did this one because my boyfriend wanted to do it.
