Cool, especially during hot days but very crowded. A bunch of lifeguards is on the spot. It has steps and a place to dive. There are drinking fountains, bathrooms, a park center, vending machines with drinks, tables, benches and picnic areas nearby. Pets aren't allowed. The parking lot is big (but pretty full) and also cars need to pay an entry fee. The view of the waterfall is wonderful! The bus route number 23B is available during summer

Enfield Falls Swimming Hole is a really nice spot, especially if you catch it at the right time. I went in October and it was a completely different experience—quiet, no crowds, and the whole place felt much more relaxed. The walk to the falls is short and easy, and the view when you get there is worth it. The water is usually popular for swimming in warmer months, but in fall it’s more about the scenery. Definitely a great place to stop if you’re in the Ithaca area, especially outside of peak summer season.

This is a cool place to visit, especially when combined with some of the other falls in the area. Not sure when swimming is available but it seems as if its probably off limits for more time than its in season. When swimming is open then this would be an awesome place for the kids.
