Nice little beach area and shallow cove for kids. Local scuba diving destination. Used by many out-of-state folks (especially from CT.) Used by many as a scuba training site. Parking lot get's quite crowded in the summer. Porta-John facilities in main parking lot. From the top parking lot, you get a very nice views of Newport/Castle Hill/Brenton Point. There are benches overlooking the view, you can watch the boats come and go: power, sail, large auto-carriers, etc.

Seems to be a big draw for fishing from the rocks and ledges. There is a fishing pier. Park in the first lot if you want to walk >1 mile.
