We’ve climbed literally all over the US and how is it that one of our favorite places is in norther AR. Amazing staff with a plethora of different adventures to be enjoyed. This was our fourth time here and we will definitely be back soon. The sport routes are thoughtfully developed and bolted. A special shout out for Anika for accommodating us on the Via Ferrata when we showed up without a reservation.

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch? More like Canyon Ranch. I have spent a weekend here before in Spring of 2023 and really enjoyed it, so I decided to go back this year with some friends to show them how wonderful it is. Well, many things have changed. First off, there used to be horses that would roam the property and go straight up to your cabin. Hence the name of the ranch, right? Well, they were nowhere in sight, so when I asked management about it, they said that the owners sold all of the horses. They do have goats, but goats are not the same. Obviously. Second, I paid $22 for a taco bar buffet that was edible at best. The meat was overly salty and just not worth the price. The breakfast was free but the eggs were watery and just not a great meal. The staff was kind, but that’s about it. Third, they advertise a jacuzzi, however, when we tried to use it, it was filled with leaves and looked like a straight up swamp. I was never told this in any email communication when I booked the cabin, so that was a major disappointment. If you are a climbing enthusiast then I would recommend coming here, but if you are looking for a weekend away at a cabin, I would recommend you look elsewhere.
