No Private Beaches: There are no fully private beaches in the state of Hawaii, except for specific federally controlled military areas. The Public Trust Doctrine: Land ownership along the coast may extend right up to the property line, but it stops where the vegetation meets the sand. The wet sand, dry sand, and the water seaward of the debris line are held in a public trust. Beach Transit Corridors: Under HRS Chapter 115, the public has the right to traverse "beach transit corridors," meaning you can freely walk, swim, fish, and relax on the shoreline in front of any resort, hotel, or private estate.

This beach is definitely hidden. You need to go through a gate and tell them you want public beach access. They’ll tell you to go left, but continue straight to the employee parking lot near the four seasons. At the back of the lot are 10 “Beach Access” spots! Don’t let them deter you from finding this beach. There are 10 spots for public access. Don’t let the hotel scare you off cause these beaches are public places

I love this beach. A hidden gem due to its location and basically on the same property as the The Four Seasons. The key to going to the beach is once you go to the guard gate and they give you a parking pass, they always tell you to turn left right away, continue straight instead to the Four Seasons and right before the hotel, it says Beach parking. You'll be driving through the employee parking lot and there are 10 spaces for public access. People are kind and the bathrooms are clean. In fact you can even swing by their restaurant and have a nice lunch. If not pack your own lunch and bring some beverages of choice, enjoy the beautiful beach there at the Four Seasons. It's open to the public.
