Long trail but worth it!! It’s like antelope canyon but less crowded and no guide needed!! We lived here and took 3 hours to play around.

A super fun trek through the canyon with hardly any tourists! Bring water and follow the entrance requirements; some sections are very narrow and require agility for climbing and jumping. You'll have a great time!!

This is an amazing slot canyon to explore. You can do a loop and see both Peek-a-Boo and also Spooky slot canyon. Peek-a-Boo is easier to navigate and not as tight and technical as Spooky.

An incredible hiking experience in Escalante! Well worth the several miles on the washboard, extremely bumpy road. We got there with our truck. We arrived to the upper parking lot by 8am, and we're glad we did, as it wasn't too hot yet. We got a little lost finding the dry narrows, and had to pull up our AllTrails map to get back to the right path. Beware it can be easy to get lost finding the canyons, but once you find the dry narrows, it's nearly impossible to get lost after that. We are so happy we all had plenty of water because a good part of the hiking is exposed and very warm. Plus, the slot canyons are strenuous, and the water helped alot. The dry narrows hike was a great introduction to the slot canyon experience, with very few tight spots with high canyon walls that provide a shaded hike through most of it. After the dry narrows, turn left and you'll find Peekaboo pretty quick. There are a couple climbs back to back getting in to the hike, and as a 42 year old woman, I needed a couple bum boosts to make it! My kids, ages 13, 12, and 8 all made it through all the canyons with little trouble, and few boosts. Peekaboo was spectacular, and Spooky was a bit tighter, but well worth it. One of the best hiking adventures we've had in Utah, and as natives with a lot of experience, this is high praise.

It's sensational, you have to have done it! Lack of space and being overweight are not helpful.
