It was pretty great there! Easy to find with gps if not familiar. But you get to a decent sized parking lot with a little pavilion with seating, water and bathrooms. Behind that is an uphill gravel driveway. The trail begins not too far after. Lots of ups and downs, lots of water, quite a few trout. I'd give the difficulty a medium if you go to the end. I recommend walking sticks. All in all it was an awesome out and back. I believe there was a fee, won't break the bank. Highly recommend

It was a great winter hike up the creek and by the numerous falls and cascading waters. A hike filled with stunning views and scenery.

Awesome hike not too crowded chance of flash floods. Some slippery conditions, well worth it. You will get wet.

So you are finally doing this hike and you are checking some pics and reviews. This one does match the hype. You will immediately have a small climb after passing the kiosk at the entrance. Do you really need those socks you keep hearing about in the reviews? It really depends on when you visit but if you are not there in the summer I would recommend getting some in Amazon for this trip. I didn't use them but if I do this one again I will take them. Getting to the canyon takes about 20 - 30 min. After that you will get your feet wet so you should embrace it at the beginning it makes your trip easier instead of trying to keep your feet dry. Making it to the end is fun and all the falls are rewarding. Will be back for sure. Also props to the city for protecting this hike. I love to see people protecting our beautiful natural resources. Cell reception is good until the beginning of the canyon also marked on the trail. Hopefully you won't need it.
