Worth the hike. We came in alone. We bought tickets in advance and registered. They verified the tickets, but didn't need our IDs. We skipped past a lot of groups with guides or with groups. I recommend you do that, because eventually there will be a line at the waterfall. The waterfall was closed at the bottom, and there was a limit of 6 people. The hike to the blue water area was a slight challenge. There are muddy areas, steep areas. Just depends on your balance. If you're clumsy, be careful. I did it with long pants, sandles with socks, and carried a 3 months old at the front. The blue water area is beautiful, take your time there. We saw a turtle.
