Majestic Peaks and Tranquil Valleys: Parc Natural Comunal de les Valls del Comapedrosa

The hiking trails are very poorly marked from the lower parking lot… as you can see, there's only this illegible sign. No sign for the lake, the mountain huts, or the direction… Furthermore, there are no signs indicating where the hikes start from the parking lot. As a result, you set off, you climb, and it's marked much later… but too late… We were supposed to see Lake Estany, but we ended up at the Refuge Les Fonts, climbing 700 meters of elevation gain, with nothing interesting to see. Next time we'll try to find the right route. 👌 The waterfalls below aren't marked either… That's a shame. To find the waterfalls, follow the road until you reach the yield sign, until you see the tunnel entrance. Turn right and go back up the road. The waterfall will be on the left.

A great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are various routes, beautiful views, trails of varying difficulty, and convenient parking. There's a cafe within a 30-minute walk.

One of the most beautiful corners of high-mountain Andorra, dominated by the Pic del Comapedrosa, which at 2,942 meters is the highest peak in the Principality. The park protects over 15 square kilometers of land and encompasses forests, lakes, waterfalls, and typical Pyrenean landscapes in a relatively compact space. We chose the Comapedrosa Interpretation Circuit, a circular route designed specifically to explore the park by walking at the foot of its highest peak. For those who want to explore Andorra's high mountains beyond simply photographing the landscape, this route is an experience worth adding to their itinerary.

Fantastic park for children, it has everything. Compared to what's available in Valencia, it's wonderful 😍
