Editorial Assessment

This public park with its river tubing trailhead is a popular outdoor spot known for its scenic and enjoyable water experience. While it offers a unique combination of gentle river rapids and proximity to geothermal hot springs, making it a special destination in the region, it lacks the distinctive natural geological features needed to classify it as a world-class iconic landmark. It provides great local recreation but doesn't meet the criteria for the highest tier of natural site rankings.

We loved floating this river. We had our own tubes, and they worked great, we just didn't get the included trailering, but we had a group of friends who gave us rides to and from the trailhead of the river, to where you get off. This park had a few tables and garbage cans, with several dozen parking spots.
