We stayed a night here (at the Sichuan side) and explored the lake the next day. We spend almost a whole day around the lake, traveling from the Sichuan side to Yunnan side of the lake. It’s a huge lake with many beautiful spots for photo shoots.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lugu Lake is an absolute paradise! The crystal-clear waters, surrounded by mountains and traditional villages, create one of the most breathtaking sceneries. It’s peaceful and serene, with opportunities to explore local culture, take scenic boat rides, or just enjoy the tranquility. The sunsets are spectacular, painting the sky and water in vibrant colors. A must-visit for nature lovers and anyone looking to unwind in a truly magical setting. Highly recommended!

Legend has it that Lugu Lake is a land of women, and there are walking marriages of the Mosuo ethnic group. Very beautiful place. The water quality is extremely clear and is used as water for local people's livelihood. It was early April when we visited, and the climate was comfortable and pleasant. In the evening, we enjoyed the bonfire rubbing performance, with handsome men and beautiful women. The next day it was windy and rough, so we took a boat ride in the bend area to feed the gulls. The whole trip was very enjoyable. At noon, enjoy the sweet-scented osmanthus fish hot pot with locally produced mushrooms, making the soup delicious.
