Beautiful place! 😍 It's a bit tricky to get there because there are no signs, but that also means it's not overcrowded. We were completely alone at the lake and could enjoy the amazing view over Limassol. We didn't see any flamingos, which was probably due to the time of year (July 2026).

Conclusion: We were absolutely thrilled! It was beautiful and unspoiled. Plus, the view over Limassol from afar was fantastic! We visited the beautiful and large salt lake at the end of July. You could walk along a small path right up to the water and dip your feet in. I would recommend rubber boots or going barefoot, though, because it's muddy. Even the drive to the salt lake across a huge expanse of sand, where you could really open up the car, was interesting. From the salt lake, you could also see the enormous City of Dreams Casino, which looked like a pyramid in the desert. The harbor and other tall landmarks were also visible. We didn't see any flamingos. However, that wasn't our intention anyway.

We didn't see any flamingos, the lake wasn't much, it wasn't worth a visit.
