Very beautiful, though a bit too close to the port and its activities. However, it's still one of the calmest spots on the island. The water is crystal clear if you don't stir up the bottom too much with your fins. A superb spot for beginners in snorkeling. Shallow water for several tens of meters. And I highly recommend M'Otier Araamu; the staff and manager are incredibly kind. Very, very clean and a fantastic restaurant. The rooms are so spacious and the beds are enormous—over 2 meters wide! We will definitely return.

Inexplicably sparsely populated. Shade, swimming opportunities, and marine life that is unmatched by Diffushi near the reef. Perfect for snorkeling with clear, shallow water. Perhaps not very Instagrammable? Why doesn't it have the typical blue seabed of the Maldives?!? Better yet, here, while the wife plays the "lizard," the husband can swim all day with the coral. P.S. There are also FREE sun loungers.

Advertised as a private beach for the hotel, (no pool) this beach was a disappointment. Signposting non existant. Broken sunbeds. Dirty water, littered with waste and bins overflowing. No amenities. Stark contrast to those beach spaces managed by other hotels.
