**Nature's Edge at Bear Beach State Natural Area**

Great destination! Enjoyed the open trail and peaceful outdoor atmosphere.

Camp Host as TDS and was politically brain washed. Would not leave campers alone. Very disappointed in this. The camp itself was beautiful.

Nice quiet sandy beach for kids Not a lot of rocks if you're into that. High surf on windy days.

Go back 51 years. This was the most beautiful and secluded place in the world. I’m reminiscing so either read or don’t lol … spent summers on Rudolph Rd at my aunt and uncles place. Spent time with the cousins tearing through the woods with his “doodle-buggy” (stripped down slugbug). No doors, no windows. Cousin would purposefully get us stuck in the mud. Who do you think had to push him out? Spent time on that beautiful beach except the shoreline was much further out. I may dig through my pictures and post. The cliff face had no trees. Pure red clay. Of course the cousin was quite mean spirited - but I loved it! We would stand way up on the cliff and he would throw clay balls at us. One hit my face and that fugger hurt! All the memories make it worthwhile. We built dams across the creeks and trapped sucker fish. Then beat their head and gutted them. They never made it to the lake. Although my cousins are gone now, those are the memories I will cherish forever. RIP. ❤️
