I go here about every week. I like walking down the road to get to the entrance. There is a beautiful bridge and birding tower. I have seen several visitors bird watching. The wildlife provides a good little retreat from everyday life. Occasionally the military will do a flyover of the area. The park has several signs about the rules and about the local wildlife. Barton's Beach is definitely a must see especially if you have kids with you. Overall, excellent spot to be alone with your thoughts and nature.
