I have been walking this park for 8 years. There is a 500-700 year old burr oak near the stream. Probably only saved because it twists. I’m aware of many forms of indoctrination and suppression… how ever why doesn’t the park have info signs up about the age of the tree. The water shed. And the fact it’s the most upper top left section of ancient Chippewa lake. I figured this out myself due to the ancient shoreline ridges that are up to 12-15 feet high and flat center like valleys. I love topographic maps and common sense and research. All sand on those ancient banks and it is recognized. Also mention the ancients that lived along the ancient shoreline. Before I gathered enough personal questioning I researched and I’m correct. Groundhogs build holes along high points for water drainage… they bring everything out of their holes and could include artifacts. I finally determined it is an ancient shoreline because of the shells on the bank the groundhog surfaced. I know Ohio suppresses and oppresses natives and ancients as well as the USA. But if you don’t I’ll continue telling everyone as I have within the past 5 years. Because it’s direct glacial history of the area.

There is a HUGE Bur Oak tree on the trail, near the creek! And 20 years ago, my father took my brother and carried me on his back, saw this very tree, and he mistook it for a White Oak. I highly recommend you to check it out.
