Hi I rented a 3 bedroom 3 bath place in Melbourne, Fla. OMG! It was very modern and had everything we needed for the girls week. I rented November 1st through the 7th. I had some medical stuff going on so im doing my review now. This place was a great location with a pool and jacuzzi. Very clean grounds as there's someone looking out on the grounds at all times. Pet friendly too. Taylor was very responsive if I had any questions. We will be back because this was a very beautiful place with great deck furniture to relax with coffee in the morning and to see the sunsets in the ocean. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience booking with this hotel. After thinking that I made a reservation, I never received any confirmation email, so I had no way of knowing the booking details, policies, or even that the reservation was successfully made. The only reason I found out was because I saw the charge on my credit card. As soon as I noticed it, I called to cancel. During that call, they suddenly sent four confirmation emails to my inbox and then told me the reservation was non-refundable. Pretty poor business ethics.

I am writing to formally complain about a distressing incident of harassment I experienced regarding handicap parking at the Melbourne Harbor Island Beach Club during Memorial Day weekend. While parked in a clearly designated handicap space, I was repeatedly confronted and threaten with towing by leaving notes on my vehicle. This occurred despite my vehicle, a Black Jeep Wrangler, being clearly marked with a Florida disabled veteran license plate. As a disabled veteran, I am legally entitled to utilize designated handicap parking spaces, and my vehicle was appropriately marked to indicate this. The repeated questioning and harassment I endured were not only deeply disrespectful but also created an incredibly unwelcome and stressful environment. I was made to feel as though I was committing an offense, despite adhering to all parking regulations. As a disabled veteran with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), this unwarranted harassment caused me significant and unnecessary trauma. The aggressive questioning and confrontation gave me a severe anxiety attack and a significant emotional setback leading to considerable distress, disrupted my ability to enjoy my time at the club and This experience was a direct exacerbation of my pre-existing condition and highlights a severe lack of awareness and sensitivity. This incident is entirely unacceptable. Individuals with disabilities, especially veterans who have served our country and may be managing invisible wounds like PTSD, should never be subjected to such treatment when legally exercising their rights. This reflects very poorly on the professionalism and understanding of those representing the Melbourne Harbor Beach Club, and furthermore, demonstrates a failure to provide a safe and respectful environment for all patrons. I request that you: * Take appropriate and significant disciplinary action to ensure such behavior is not repeated by any staff members or club representatives. * Implement or reinforce comprehensive training for all staff regarding handicap parking laws, the specific meaning and validity of disabled veteran license plates, and crucially, respectful and sensitive interaction with all club patrons, particularly those with visible and invisible disabilities. I trust you will treat this complaint with the utmost seriousness it deserves and take immediate, decisive steps to address these issues and prevent future occurrences. I look forward to your prompt response and a comprehensive resolution, because this is unacceptable.
