One of the three most beautiful views in Japan, it is definitely worth a visit, but it is recommended to climb the mountain to see the view from afar to experience its uniqueness. Walking through it with pine forests on both sides is very special.

The open chair lift without a belt, is the highlight of this place. It's very safe. View is very scenic. We came by the ferry to this point where we had a good experience feeding the seagulls. Good souvenir shop near cable car station. recommended to Visit if you want something more to do than temples & gardens in kyoto. Nearly 2 hour drive each side which was long.
