Subterranean Wonderlands: Pluto's Cave

Great destination! Enjoyed the open trail and peaceful outdoor atmosphere.

Dirty and not exciting

Smells like hobos have been camping in it, covered in graffiti, and surrounded by sketchy abandoned pot farms. Waste of time, would not recommend.

Great cave marred by the selfish graffiti of sad humans degrading nature.

Well worth the trip out. There's a sign at the parking area that kind of points the direction, but there aren't any signs along the path. The footpath is dirt/sand and a few jagged rocks, so be careful if you have ambulation issues. The arches are great natural formations. Unfortunately, there are graffiti marks all over the rockfaces. If you can ignore those and remember where you're standing, it's phenomenal. Getting into the caves can be tricky. There are no steps, only rocks that have fallen in. Some may be difficult for children or those who may not move as easily as others. Take your time. The floor of the caves is sandy. That also means it can be slick if it rains. To see the blind cave easily with natural light, go earlier in the day. The arches are lit fairly well all day.
