Very well hidden back within the woods down Burrell’s Ford Road in Longcreek, SC area and in the Oconee District of the Sumter National Forest just below the Georgia and North Carolina border. Well worth the hike, but be sure to bring your water bottles, hiking boots and use the restroom before you go as there is only a very stinky outdated outhouse there. There is a walk down a long gravel road (which desperately needs some benches for resting). Trail to King Creek Falls is through the woods where there’s some rough terrain over exposed tree roots, large boulders and over a pretty log bridge that crosses over a peaceful babbling creek. Definitely well worth the trek. Some people were camping there near the trail entrance to the falls and there were some parents photographing their young son proposing to his girlfriend at the Falls (great proposal spot). Highly recommend going here.

King Creek Falls was a lovely hike with a moderate level of difficulty. The water was refreshing, and the views were scenic. Tip: Here's a heads up for finding the trailhead: Many online resources might point you to the wrong location (the actual falls). Instead, search for "Burrells Ford Campground Parking Area" on Google Maps. This will take you to the correct spot where the trail begins behind the campground. There's minimal signage, so keep an eye out for the wide path leading into the woods. Overall, a great hidden gem (if you can find it!) for a short and scenic hike.
