Me and my wife have come to King Creek Falls many times and did not know this gem was nearby. Not the biggest falls, but we'll worth the hike. You can sit right in the falls and enjoy the day there with a picnic.

An easy, new favorite hike of mine. The trail coasts you along the Chattooga River making for wonderful scenery. There are a few spots where you will need to hop across or use the rocks to cross small creeks. Should you choose to use the rocks or fallen branches just be careful as they may be slippery. It only becomes slightly strenuous when you make that right to go towards the waterfalls, leaving for a steady incline. Technically there are two waterfalls. The first one you will see right away on your trek up the switchbacks. The second one is about 5-10 minutes or so past it. If you are looking for a beginner hike to a waterfall with only a little bit of an incline, this is perfect for you. Oh, and did I mention it’s dog friendly?
