The Morley Nelson Birds of Prey area is spectacular and exemplifies southern Idaho. Swan Falls dam is lovely and historic. The black basalt cliffs juxtaposed against a blue Idaho sky are striking. And the Snake River is, as always, mercurial and powerful.

Its good place for weekending near Boise, Drive from boise to this is good. Preferred time of visit before 3pm during January.
