I largely agree with the previous comments. Be wary of the tours offered, especially the night safari where we only saw deer from a very noisy truck! It would be much better if they invested in electric vehicles (quieter and less polluting, as you breathe in exhaust fumes the whole time). With our children, we chose the truck-bus because it was more convenient, but this tour is also available on foot (which might be better). For the boat tour, we saw three types of birds; it should be considered a leisurely boat ride. We loved the tour with our fantastic guide, Ha! It was the Crocodile Lake tour. We walked 5km each way through the jungle (after taking the truck-bus). She explained and told us so much about the flora and fauna with patience, enthusiasm, and passion! We really appreciated her! We saw gibbons, langurs, and crocodiles! The children and we were so happy!

Cycling Experience in Nam Cat Tien National Park. You have to ride the roads inside to truly appreciate the effectiveness of a bicycle's gear system. In the city, I've never used low gears for mountain biking, but here, using the lowest gear really showed the optimal performance of the gears and knobby tires. In Nam Cat Tien National Park, you can bring your own bike (100k VND per bike, 60k VND per person), or rent one (a Trioblade is decent, most are used bikes). When searching on Google Maps, remember to find the correct location of the entrance to Nam Cat Tien National Park. I located my position in Nam Cat Tien and Google led me to the district committee office (in the wrong direction). The main road only has one direction (there's a side road that goes through the Heaven's Gate and the Bang Lang Da Co forest), the maximum distance shown on the map for the round trip is about 35km (not including walking sections or the walk to Bau Sau). There are many side paths along both sides of the main road (not recommended), but due to time constraints, I would have tried turning into the forest branches. It was a relaxing time to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy cycling. Remember to take your trash with you; don't leave it in the forest! I'm giving it 4 stars because some of the bikes were too old; I saw several Westerners with flat tires having to walk back :(
