The cable car ticket price for the ascent is 150. However, construction is underway at the mountaintop, and the path to the temple up the mountain is quite prone to landslides and slippery during this rainy season. Upon reaching the top, the path is also blocked off by construction work.

The Chua Chan Pilgrimage - September 5, 2026 The cable car station was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was cool, the environment was professional, and buying tickets was quick with no long waits (possibly due to fewer visitors today).

The steps leading to the temple were very wide and unfriendly. After reaching the temple, the path up Jialao Mountain was mostly dirt and very slippery; almost everyone I saw was covered in dirt and slipped.
