It took us (44) a good two hours for the climb. It's quite manageable, not much climbing involved, and not very slippery. Be careful at the entrance; they charged us 100,000 kip but only wanted to give us a ticket. I've been there before, as they often check the ticket somewhere and charge a "fine." So make sure you get a ticket as well. The view is fantastic and definitely worth the climb.

Fairly easy hike with nice view on the top. I'm 41 yrs old with 6 screws and rods in my lower spine, bad ankle and bad knee. It took 85 minutes to reach the top and exactly 50 minutes to go down. A must if you are in Nong Khiaw!

Beautiful view. This one is not the tallest though, there are 2 taller (pha mok and everest). 1.5hr up, 1hr down, average to above average fitness, little breaks Can hike down in dark, bring a good torch/headlamp. Beware there are a lot of spiders and ants and other insects buzzing in your face Study footwear (minimum sneakers) needed

Beautiful hiking and stunning 360 view. I slept at the top under the Stars and it was an amazing experience. I am quite fit. Did many hikings this week and it took me 110min to go at the top, with few breaks. Left at 1.30pm, reached the top at 3.20pm. I was quite tired and maybe I went slow. However, it took me 50min to go down quite fast, so I am not quite sure regarding 50min to ascend.

Really beautiful 🤩 (trail is almost completely in the shadow) For the times, since it was a little confusing with the reviews (90min-2h): it took me 80 min up but i was going quite fast without a break, so I think 100-120 is more realistic for most people. For the down: I needed 50 min but was close to trail running sometimes. So I think 60-80 min is more realistic for not runner ;) The trail itself is quite easy to hike, a lot of "stairs" at the lower part, i little tricky in the upper part sometimes. Would not recommend it with wet conditions
