Every autumn, since I can recall, my family and I would pick up Route 2 West from the Boston area where we lived and make this glorious trip. As the years went by, husbands, children, and work didn't always allot me time for my favorite pastime. Then, we moved out from the Boston area to the Pioneer Valley, and once again, we're able to get back to my my favorite autumn pastime again! The simple beauty alone is enough to keep us going. But then there's the rich historic treasure trove. We've stumbled onto some fantastic sights over the years.

We been going here for close ton10 years kids.love it and so do we as parent we look for safe place where kids van enjoy the mother nature and a glimpse of experience like whenever we were kids . And for the first time a granddaughter came with that said I hope they will continue to pass it on as we are.. MOHAWK YRAIL FOREST ..

Beautiful scenic drive through bridge of flowers, small old towns, zigzag indian trails, restaurant up at the hairpin turn, through to tranquil Williamstown. Would love to return for summer drive!
