We went up for a camping trip past kalama horse camp. Forest was beautiful(not much of a view from our camp site but you can drive around and find one). A lot of trails, paths and greenery. This was my third trip up with no issues finding a spot to camp and we will definitely return. Also the further up the forest roads you get the more likely you'll need to be in a truck or off-road type of vehicle.
