A stunning spot in Portland! The Blue Lagoon offers a unique mix of the deep, serene lagoon in the back and a rugged beach with the open sea on the other side (note that the sea side is not shallow, so keep that in mind if you're swimming). Pricing breakdown: Entry: 200 JMD Rafting: 3,500 JMD per person Life jacket rental: 1,000 JMD Parking tip: Official parking is usually up ahead at the tropical resort, but sometimes you can get lucky and find a spot closer to the entrance. Highly recommend visiting! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The blue Lagoon is a nice tranquil place to visit. It is free to enter with the option to donate a fee. There are bathroom facilities if needed. There is a shallow pool within the lagoon where the water is extremely cool flowing out of the rocks where fish openly swim amongst those in the pool. Craft vendors are onsite selling lovely small gifts and swimwear. The positioning of the stalls can be a distraction and would be better placed in an area away from the walk way to the pool. It disturbs the tranquility of this peaceful place. If you are making your own way there by car, there appears to be no signage until your have arrived at the location.

It's definitely a place everyone should go. The entrance fee is negligible; they only ask for a small donation.
