There is a voluntary offering to be given even if I don't understand why, however as you go every day there is no need to always give it There is algae and there are only 2 places that you can swim because there is rock in the water along the beach There are restaurants and bars obviously all expensive because the Americans have ruined the area All of Jamaica is expensive and they even have to pay for the beaches from €8 to €20 per person without them giving you anything because if you want a sunbed you have to pay more money it's absurd all over the world there are beautiful beaches for free And the fruit here is also very expensive This beach is the only one in the area that you can not pay for and you can get there by car or on foot with a paved beach chair On Sundays there are a lot more people and the shade soon comes, forget about sunbathing also because in Jamaica the sun comes and goes but in this area it is more when it is not there than when it is there even though it is February

Nice little public beach that is readily accessible to anyone. I wouldn't say it's the best beach in Portland, but it is definitely one that can pass. The environment was clean, and the vibe was nice. This is really one of the few 'free' beaches you can find there Well, the admission is free, yes, but every now again, especially on the weekends, they may ask for a contribution. They say it goes towards helping with the maintainace of the beach. I don't mind giving a contribution for that purpose, because it's a beautiful beach and it takes money to keep things in good condition. Parking isn't an issue. There is plenty of space. There are some stalls there that I think sell food and beverages. I didn't really go over there, so I dont have much to say there. The beach, at the time of my visit, did have a sea urchin issue. They took over a large part of the sea bed... Not sure if that's the case nowadays, though.
