A beautiful drive through Cave Creek, with a few stops and short hikes. Abundant wildlife and still a few spots where water was moving (slowly) The perfect day trip. It was about a 2 hr drive for us. The Chiricahua Mts are a hidden gem. Checked out most of the camp sites and each one had its own ambiance. Never saw another soul as we hiked around. It was the perfect Monday visit.

Been there, loved it, now I'm turning me buddy on to it. I'm in Tucson, so it's a day trip. I camp, though.
