This remarkable natural walkway stretches along limestone cliffs high above the Tyrrhenian Sea, offering travelers extraordinary panoramic views of the azure waters and dramatic coastal landscape. The trail connects the mountain villages of Bomerano and Nocelle, providing a unique opportunity to experience both rugged terrain and rich Mediterranean vegetation, including vibrant wildflowers and fragrant herbs.

The Path of Gods is famous for its sheer cliffs, natural rock formations, and ancient mule tracks hewn into the rock by generations past. This trail reveals the raw beauty of the Amalfi region with vistas of terraced vineyards, olive groves, and the quaint, colorful villages dotting the coastline below. Editorial Assessment

This coastal trail scores highly due to its extraordinary natural beauty, unique limestone cliffs, and panoramic sea views. Although it attracts many visitors and is well-known locally, it is less globally iconic compared to the world’s most unparalleled natural landmarks. The moderate difficulty and accessibility add to its appeal for outdoor enthusiasts.

The trail starts in Bomerano, a hamlet of Agerola. There's free parking in the main square. The trail is very beautiful, mostly secured. Be careful on unsecured sections, as it's slippery on smooth stones. There are no fountains to refill your water supply. There's a small refreshment stand that sells lemonade for €3, but payment is cash only. Once you reach the end of the trail, good luck if you decide to climb the 2,000 steps down to Postano.

One of the nicest coast paths I have ever walked. It took two hours of easy to moderate walking to get from the Nocelle to Agerola-Bomerano. We enjoyed superb views of the sea, pine forest and Italian ladscape. Villages of Nocelle and Bomerano are served by bus links. No need to return to car.
