I usually dont enjoy hikes if there's no water to be rewarded with at the end, but this hike proved me wrong! The majority of the trail is shaded. We hiked up the pipeline trail, went to the look out, and then turned back around and hiked down the Gulch trail. I recommend doing it this way because the Gulch trail would be very steep going up, and it also makes it a loop trail.
